What is a Start up?

A start up is a young company founded by one or more enthusiasts to develop a unique idea which can be either product or service that can create an impact in the market. By its nature, the typical start up tends to be a shoestring operation, with initial funding from the founders or their friends and families.
APEIRON

My company name is “Apeiron”. “Aperion” is a word that has been derived from Greek language. The literal meaning of “Aperion” is “Infinity” or “Endless limits”.
It is basically a start-up in which the firm work with a supplier to customize white-label products (like baseball hats,t-shirts ,visiting card, books, pen and tote bags) with our own designs to sell them on a per-order basis under our brand.
The Motto/tagline of my Company is
“We are there…. Whatever you want”
Print on demand

Print on demand is a process where we work with a supplier to customize white-label products (like bats, t-shrits, hats or tote bags) with our own designs to sell them on a per-order basis under our brand. That means we don’t pay for the product until after you’ve actually sold it, so there’s no need to buy in bulk or hold any inventory ourselves.
Plus, with print-on-demand services everything after the sale, from printing to shipping, is handled by your supplier. Once you’ve set everything up, it takes only a few clicks to full fill an order once you’ve made a sale.
About the company and product (business idea)

My firm(“APEIRON”) deals with “Print on demand” that offer an alternative way to bypass the time , investments , and risk associated with managing inventory (traditional route of buying and holding),letting us go from creating to selling custom products(like t-shirts , hats, bags, yoga mats ,puzzles, wall) at a fraction of the cost.
Target customers

Whether a person is an artist, writer, designer, or entrepreneur, physical products can be the perfect canvas for monetizing your creativity.
From t-shirts to posters, backpacks to books, a person put their our own original spin on everyday products and sell them online. However, if we go the traditional route buying and holding your own inventory, we may be left with a pile of products that aren’t selling. So we offer an alternative way to bypass the time, investments, and risk associated with managing inventory (traditional route of buying and holding),letting us go from creating to selling custom products(like t-shirts , hats, bags, yoga mats ,puzzles, wall) at a fraction of the cost. also not concerned to the region he/she is living or the religion he/she is belonging, it is open for all.
Market DEMAND

In reality the market of printing prove to be a boon in past five years and there is much to establish in India.
The market for industrial printing application has experienced growth in dimension including those of “Promotional and miscellaneous items” the dimension mentioned is now being subject to being printed by using a range of specialist analogue methods and inkjet .Print on Demand Worldwide forecasts an estimated £114.8 billion increase by the year 2022. The price of the industrial and functional market has risen from £37.2 billion in 2012 to a now prevailing value of £76.9 billion, and following this trend the £114.billion mark makes sense. In this pie chart we can clearly see my start is having a total weigatage of 32% in of total print industry through heat and label trasnfer.

So “APEIRON” aim is to minimize cost of printing and provide their best product to their trusted customers!!!
Relevant Products in the Market:

There are several online websites and companies which are giving self custom products like printful ,SPOD ,printify ,Apliiq Dropship,Teelaunch and T -Pop etc have their different POD platform some of them are very expensive ,so compare different cost structures of POD platforms and settle for the attractive one. Know what is the per-item charge, subscription fees, monthly expenses, etc of the platform. Also customers are very unsatisfied with Mockups generators of various POD platform so I will sort their problem by creating a better mock-ups software so that a quality mock-up helps customers to make instant purchasing decisions.

Required Knowledge And Expertise

A person should be experienced to work in this field as in today’s scenario there are a abound of companies which are working in this .Therefore, a print on demand business requires stronger graphic design skills along with effective marketing strategies and advertising skill on a high-performing ecommerce platform that supports it in order to yield good results.
ESTIMATED BUDGET

The cost/budget for our company is almost zero or very less as compared to other businesses .
Why I am saying this? , there are two methods when building a POD store .
The first method is to open a Print on Demand store using a third-party marketplace. The biggest benefit about this is that it requires absolutely no money to start this way. Anyone can open a store and start generating money, without investing a penny. This is the freeway.
And there are a number of online marketplaces that allow you to do this like eBay , Merch by Amazon ,Tee spring etc.
If we don’t have money at hand to invest then this method is a great option to get the ball rolling .And once the person starts generate sales ,then he/she can reinvest his/her earnings back into the business, and graduate to building our own store.
Second way of investing that I will do is open a POD store on my own website. I known this will cost me but it has several advantage over the free method.
Here are just a few of the benefits:
- I can control the customer journey.
- I can decide how I want to market my products.
- I don’t need to adhere to any rules or regulations.
- I’m not competing with other sellers.
To build our own store, I will rely on Shopify as it is the fastest, easiest way to build a professional looking eCommerce store, without any prior experience.
So, my Company estimated budget will be $199 per month.
Marketing plan

This is the most crucial part for me because this is only going to decide whether my product will going to sell out or not, because until and unless my products are not able to reach to the customers they will be of no use.
So my marketing strategies for my customers will be :-
First I take help of social media platform like facebook ,as it offers a ‘Shop’ feature that sits right on your page. It’s totally free to add, and I don’t have to pay any commission on the orders you take. I simply have to enter my product images, descriptions, etc. and they display within the ‘Shop’ area of my page. Customers are then linked out to my website to browse further and (hopefully!) complete their purchase.
Second Strategy of mine will be sharing discount codes on my various marketing channels that can help drive new business to my store and entice ‘maybes’ into becoming ‘buys.’ 93% of people use discount codes, and they’ve become an established way to grow business.
RISK ANALYSIS

As there are many risk in every business but I remember a famous quote “There is no gain without pain”.
Similarly there are risk in print on demand (POD) business but I will try to give solution at my level along with problems
1. Economic risk

The economy is constantly changing as the markets fluctuate due to covid-19. Some positive changes are good for the economy, which lead to booming purchase environments, while negative events can reduce sales. I will keep changing the trends to potentially identify and plan for an economic downturn.
To counteract economic risk, save as much money as possible to maintain a steady cash flow. Also, operate with a lean budget with low overhead through all economic cycles as part of your business plan.
2. Security and Fraud Risk

As more customers is going to use online and mobile channel of my firm to share personal data, there are also greater opportunities for hacking. News stories about data breaches, identity theft and payment fraud illustrate how this type of risk is growing for businesses.
Not only does this risk impact trust and reputation, but a company is also financially liable for any data breaches or fraud. To achieve effective enterprise risk management, my firm is going to focus on security solutions, fraud detection tools and employee and customer education about how to detect any potential issues.
These are some of the risk I and my firm will concern upon the most.
Milestone and time line
I want to cover up the entire World but for first that we are trying to cover my province,Agra If it is successful than I will try to expand the business in Entire World.
I want my country and people to be proud and develop the feeling of self-dependent and free them from depending on bigcompanies like “Apple”, “Microsoft” etc.
Time estimated for the entire project would be around 5 -6 months for a well working established service . But it is not the “carved in stone”. If we are all set than in the first 1st month can be devote ourself to build our setup and to collect start up funding. The next 3–4 months are to upload our work on our website and to advertise it to more and more people ie to target the customers. If the idea doesn’t work so well we will wipe out the “overshoot the mark” and learn from it and never repeat it again .
We will follow the guidelines and timeline in a punctual manner as it is going to pay us at last.
